California storms kill three as 38 MILLION remain under flood alerts

This is the latest on the critical conditions the state of California and major west  coast cities are about to face..

A bouy in Florida waters registered a potential record breaking 101 degrees today..  While the readings would've been considered a possible outlier or sensor error, surrounding buoys recorded similarly high temperatures,  with 99.3   F at Murray Key and 98.4   F at Johnson Key . Another reason why these water temperature readings are being taken seriously is the fact that experts have been tracking the exceptionally warm water temperature readings that have ranged from 92-97 degrees since early July. Meanwhile.. Washington DC was not with a bout of severe weather and for a brief time a funnel cloud was captured forming above the nations Capitol.. Let’s hope these don’t portend of further looking calamities to befall a nation and planet. 

Yellowstone closure and flooding 

 Art Bell and Whitley Strieber both appeared on the NBC Today Show 21 years ago to talk about their joint collaborative book: THE COMING GLOBAL SUPERSTORM.. In their project, both foretold of a world where the global weather patterns would be thrown into chaos.. where the Gulf Stream would shut down because of rampant global warming..  And ironically how all of this warming and changing could throw the planet back into an ice age of epic proportions. Matt Lauer--where is he now again??--grilled the two and did his best to label the whole concept pseudo science: A few years later the concept was put into practice by Hollywood with the release of the film THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW. We can begin calling the mid Atlantic tornado alley! remember the old days when a tornado would be a rare event, some thing that would be front-page news because of this year oddity of a tornado in Appalachia? Anymore it would seem that just about every storm produces the possibility of not only severe weather but also intense straight line winds or even tornadoes. such was the case yesterday in Trevose Pennsylvania, with a car dealership being the significant victim. There are at least 4 to 5 injuries, but no deaths thankfully have been reported... The Faulkner dealership has been decimated, with some commenting that it looks like a bomb went off... There were other significant potential tornadoes, one near Lebanon Pennsylvania. There was another report of rotation or six flags in New Jersey, and tremendously bad weather that move through Bucks County and Montgomery county Pennsylvania. Word spread just a few hours ago:    FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY!  Numerous water rescues continue across southern #Nashville with reports of people clinging to trees. This is a life-threatening situation - do not travel tonight! Heavy rains and torrential downpours were responsible for widespread flooding overnight Saturday.. there were countless scanner reports of people being trapped in homes, some standing on top of cars, and water rescues occurring throughout the metro area.. Some areas of Nashville and other parts of Tennessee saw between 5 and 10 inches of rain Saturday, leading to the extreme weather event. The National Weather Service in Nashville reports that the city has measured another 0.94" of rain since midnight. This gives Nashville a 2-day rainfall total of 6.69". This surpasses the 6.68" measured on September 13-14, 1979, and gives the city the 2nd largest 2-day rainfall total in Nashville's history, trailing only May 1-2, 2010 DEVELOPING... Alert: Flash...

The NET is abuzz.. why are ships floating in the sky above water in EUROPE? Fata Morgana ... That's why.' Earlier this week in Paignton, Devon, a picturesque coastal snap depicted several liners which looked like they were hovering above the sea due to the phenomenon. And on Friday in Banff, Aberdeenshire, health and safety worker Colin McCallum spotted another ship which looked to be flying and stopped to get a video of the unusual sight before investigating what caused the illusion. The phenomenon, known as Fata Morgana, creates a mirage when the sun heats up the atmosphere above the land or the sea, which creates a gradient of temperatures..
