 All eyes were on nuclear facilities in Ukraine this week.. all eyes in general are on the troubled nation as Russia's invasion continues.. But Cold War Kids especially seem to have their 99 LUFT BALLOONS memories suddenly coming back to haunt them.. those drills under desks, those moments during the 20th century when they thought nuclear annihilation was coming at any moment.. Those fears were palpable then for them, and now they are back again.. Report claims that Captured Russian soldiers in tears with relatives

All the world’s a stage Report claims that Captured Russian soldiers cry as they tell relatives ‘I was sent to my death’ — mirror.co.uk Captured Russian soldiers broke down in tears as they told their families they had been ‘sent to their deaths’ in Ukraine . The prisoners of war were interviewed on camera by Ukrainian forces and said they had been used as cannon fodder in the war. It comes after Ukraine claimed it had killed 6,000 Russian troops durning the first six days of the invasion. Now footage is being shared online showing some of the captured invaders complaining about the war.

The Simpsons show support for Ukraine while some find an old episode that may have portended current events

Tonight the official “The Simpsons“ Facebook page presented artistic commentary and support for Ukraine as Russia continues to pummel the nation. The timing is fascinating given this: Fans of the animated cartoon have taken to  Twitter and pointed out that there’s an episode from 1998, titled ‘Simpson Tide,’ in which there are some similarities to current events. In the episode, Homer Simpson accidentally fires off a submarine captain into Russian water, which brings back the Soviet Union, who send troops and tanks out to the streets. Some are you the conspiracy realm is that play in that the makers of the Simpsons have been time traveler since the beginning. Others just point out that the shows that I’m so long, it goes to show that they would be at least one or two references to futuristic timelines. But it’s getting weird isn’t it?

  THE AP REPORTING: American authorities seized a range of Iran’s state-linked news website domains they accused of spreading disinformation, the U.S. Justice Department said Tuesday, a move that appeared to be a far-reaching crackdown on Iranian media amid heightened tensions between the two countries. The Justice Department said 33 of the seized websites were used by the Iranian Islamic Radio and Television Union, which was singled out by the U.S. government last October for what officials described as efforts to spread disinformation and sow discord among American voters ahead of the 2020 presidential election. The U.S. says three other seized websites were operated by the Iraqi Shiite paramilitary group, Kata’ib Hizballah, which more than a decade ago was designated a foreign terrorist organization. The group is separate from the Lebanese militant Hezbollah group whose news websites remained operational. The website domains are owned by U.S. companies, but despite the sanctions...
