Local Oregon affiliates are reporting that 25-year-old Koryn Daniel Kraemer has been charged with second-degree assault after he allegedly bit and chewed off part of an elderly man’s ear and face, early Tuesday morning.
Kraemer said he consumed alcohol, marijuana, and fentanyl pills before the attack, the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office in Oregon said.
Police arrested Kraemer shortly after 2 a.m. after finding him still on top of the victim, a 78-year-old man from Hillsboro, at a commuter rail station in Gresham, east of Portland. It added, in interviews with law enforcement, Kraemer said he believed the victim was a “robot” and was trying to kill him because of how he “smelled.”
Kraemer further stated that he spit out the flesh of the victim he had consumed, and the responding law enforcement had saved his life by separating him from "the robot."
