Several gunshot victims were transported to a hospital Saturday night following a shooting in downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee, police said in a news release.  Officers patrolling the area heard gunshots just after 11:45 p.m. near the area of 100 Cherry Street and arrived at a scene of “multiple parties exchanging gunfire and numerous people fleeing the area,” said police.  Multiple gunshot victims were taken to a hospital for treatment, said police Sgt. Jeremy Eames, but he didn’t specify how many people were injured.  “I don’t have ages or a status on the victims,” said Eames. “However most of them will be teenagers to early 20’s. We had large groups of juveniles walking around the downtown area this date and we believe it’s from within that group that the shooting took place.”

New York TIMES reports on apocalypse now plans by the United States government

The New York Times is splashing some very interesting information about apocalyptic battle plans that the United States government has formulated. The TIMES has published documents, and has been given copies showcasing what the government has done to prepare for things like nuclear Armageddon, the president taking over all communications during a national crisis, and much much more. From the report:  WASHINGTON —  Newly disclosed documents  have shed a crack of light on secret executive branch plans for apocalyptic scenarios — like the aftermath of a nuclear attack — when the president may activate wartime powers for national security emergencies. Until now, public knowledge of what the government put into those classified directives, which invoke emergency and wartime powers granted by Congress or otherwise claimed by presidents, has been limited to declassified descriptions of those developed in the early Cold War. In that era, they included steps like imposing martial ...

Winnie the Cruel

First let’s report what Variety has splashed across the Internet today: A.A. Milne’s original “ Winnie the Pooh ” stories only lapsed into the public domain five months ago, but the tubby little cubby has already made his foray into slasher films. “Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey” wrapped earlier this month, and the first stills showing a demonic Pooh and Piglet about to pounce on a scantily-clad young woman relaxing in a hot tub have already set the internet on fire. In an interview with  Variety , director Rhys Waterfield, who is in post-production on four other films including “Firenado” and “Demonic Christmas Tree,” said the response to the stills has been “absolutely crazy.” “Because of all the press and stuff, we’re just going to start expediting the edit and getting it through post production as fast as we can,” said Waterfield. “But also, making sure it’s still good. It’s gonna be a high priority” We are fans of horror as much as the next guy. Believe us, some of the best ...

Police about face in Uvalde!

After two days of providing often conflicting information, investigators said that a school district police officer was not in the school when 18-year-old gunman Salvador Ramos arrived around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, and, contrary to their previous reports, the officer had not confronted Ramos outside the building. Instead, Ramos entered the building ”unobstructed” through an apparently unlocked door, said Victor Escalon, regional director for the Texas Department of Public Safety.  Local police officers entered the building four minutes later but were driven back after exchanging fire with the gunman, he said.

From press reports: Police stood by for upward of 40 minutes after a gunman stormed into an elementary school in Uvalde,  Texas , on Tuesday and killed 19 children and two teachers in a classroom, according to a new report. Latest on Uvalde shooter

Here is an interesting series of links concerning the Uvalde Texas school shooter. From what we know at this point, he was a teenager that was bullied but increasingly grew unstable as time went on.  Additionally, we were told he used to cut his own face.  He would use a BB gun on randoms..  Public reports indicate that he lived in a home with his grandmother and mother. While we know he apparently shot his grandmother in the face, she is still alive. There are rumors that his grandmother was trying to evict his mom from the home because of an addiction to drugs. That is yet to be expounded on further..  There are a number of conspiracy theories claiming that he was a transgender, but images that were circulated around the Internet of him reportedly in women’s clothing appears not to be him.  You can read more about that in the link below which describes “horrifying“ conspiracy theories. Long COVID’s long shadow

Recently the @CDCgov acknowledged that 1 in 5 people will develop a new health condition (#LongCovid) after infection. Then today, the biggest study to date notes vaccines only reduce Long Covid incidence by 15%. ..  this number is interesting, juxtapose to numbers from the United Kingdom, America is reporting much higher incidents of long Covid. Overacross the pond, only about 2% of the population has self reported a long-term symptom related to the Covid infection. We don’t believe that makes the American numbers incorrect or creates a false sense that the lower British numbers are right either. Thinking back to the Covid infections as they were really astronomically high during 2021, let’s not forget how Americans were affected. Incidences of death in the United States seem to be somewhat higher than other industrialized nations. Perhaps it’s due to an overall health decline of the American population, or even due to the Americans being  massively overweight when compared ...

Reports indicate that Texas shooter’s grandmother worked at Robb Elemnetary school

This is developing.. Tony Plohetski of the  Austin American-Statesman  newspaper On MSNBC tonight: "I have learned one fact from law enforcement officials, and that is that the gunman's grandmother apparently worked at this elementary school, but that her employment stopped in May 2020. So, officials are trying to determine whether there is some connection there, or what exactly that connection is," he explained. "But you certainly know, and I know from covering mass shootings, and other major crimes like this. that sometimes the real meaning dies with the person," he noted. "And so, that very well maybe what happened here."

A pox on all our futures

By now you’ve heard about monkeypox. The virus that provides flu like symptoms, weeks of strife, and finally giant pus filled pox marks on our palms of our hands and faces to signify the virus subsiding. It all sounds pretty horrible, and unfortunately now for people worldwide it is a personal plague. While there are no indications that give us information as to who patient zero is, there’s plenty of rumors about this mysterious monkeypox invasion of our planet. It doesn’t spread like earlier strains, and it certainly seems to be spreading much faster and further than anyone has ever seen before. There was a brief moment in 2003 when monkey pox looked dangerous, as it spread from rats from New Guinea into the Midwest, and 70 or so became sick. There were no reported deaths from that mini outbreak. The current situation seems different however. There are some rumors swirling that right now monkeypox patients seem to be men who have had sex with each other. The working theory is that thi...
