Office manager claims he saw alien spaceship above Arctic Ocean - others see Michael Jackson

An office manager is convinced he’s spotted a UFO hovering above the Arctic ocean on Google Earth - but others likened it to ‘Jesus ascending’. Edward Jones, from Liverpool, Merseyside, was baffled when he spotted the shadowy figure hovering off the coast of the Norwegian archipelago of Svalbard.

The thrilled 32-year-old, who claims to have spotted several UFOs in the past, shared his discovery on Facebook but found other users weren’t convinced. Dubious commenters made all manner of wacky claims as to what the mystery shape was, including suggestions it was Jesus, Michael Jackson, a Star Wars spaceship or simply a passing seagull.

Although unsure exactly what the object is, Edward is certain it’s none of the more mundane explanations as he claims it doesn’t look 'from this earth’. Edward said: “When I’m bored, I’ll go on Google Earth and look around at different locations that you’re never going to see [in real life].
