Nuclear winter continued: All eyes on Chernobyl nuclear site

Radiation sensors in Eastern Europe are detecting a significant increase of radioactive fallout over the last 72 hours around the Chernobyl nuclear disaster site, where authorities have confirmed 92 plant workers are being held hostage.

The White House released a statement requesting their release.

While eyes are on Chernobyl, concern is growing that 4 other nuclear power plants currently in operation elsewhere throughout Ukraine could come under attack, ejecting additional radioactive materials into the air.

Weather patterns would spread any radioactive cloud over Europe before spreading throughout much of the Northern Hemisphere..

Important developing story..
